Nemeth started his career singing at his local church and over the years he started playing in different local bands before forming Fat John and the 3 Slims alongside his friend Tom Moore. The group stayed together for nearly a decade before Nemeth started the band John Nemeth and the Jacks. Two years later, Nemeth released his debut solo album, “Come and Get It”. Around the same time he moved to Oakland, California and was apart of the back band for Anson Funderburgh before releasing more solo music. Nemeth has since released seven more albums. Some of his most popular songs include “Country Boy”, “She Belongs to Me”, “Feelin’ Freakly”, “S.T.O.N.E.D” and “Get Offa Dat Butt”.
