John Baumann has lived, and has succeeded at, three, if not more, separate, distinctive, yet overlapping, lives.

John found success as a student, now educator, putting himself through school, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a business degree and graduating with a juris doctorate from Cornell Law School having the distinction of being the last person admitted to the Class of 1986 two days before classes commenced. He passed the Bar in three states: Texas, Louisiana and New Jersey. In 2004, John joined the faculty of the University of Louisville, College of Business teaching law for 10 years and, in 2009, receiving the distinction of being selected "Most Inspiring Professor." After writing a chapter for each of three compilation books (Chapter Five of Roadmap to Success along with Deepak Chopra, Chapter Two of Courageous Stories of Inspiration, and Chapter One of The Power of Mentorship - The Art of Living Well), Mr. Baumann authored his critically-acclaimed book DECIDE SUCCESS: Twelve Action Steps to Achieve the Success You Truly Desire - You Ain't Dead Yet.

Mr. Baumann also found success as an attorney for 30 years and Board member working his way up from a trial attorney at Exxon to Executive Officer, General Counsel & Secretary of a market-listed public corporation. He was elected to the Boards of Thorntons (a chain of gas station/ convenience stores), the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Make-a-Wish (eventually becoming Board Chair) and the World Parkinson's Program. He is a current member of the Kentucky Bar and the National Speaker's Association.

Finally, Mr. Baumann, unexpectantly, found himself faced with finding success as a Person with Parkinson's, after being diagnosed in 2002 at 41 years old. John reinvented himself as an internationally-recognized inspirational speaker utilizing a mixture of reclaiming a positive perspective, a healthier diet, daily exercise (boxing training, core fitness, and hot yoga), maintaining a sense of humor, uncovering your purpose and having faith in battling any chronic illness including Parkinson's. He has inspired audiences at Symposiums ranging from a couple hundred to over a thousand in Malaysia, France, Puerto Rico, across Canada and at least 50 locations in the United States from Alaska to Vermont, Tucson to Tampa. Now, 15 years into this life journey, he is healthier than he has ever been (even with Parkinson's disease).
