Lloyd (Polite, Jr.) Booking Agency Profile

Book Lloyd (Polite, Jr.) for your next corporate event, function, or private party.
Lloyd Polite, Jr. is an R&B singer-songwriter signed to a joint venture between Interscope, Polow Da Don’s label Zone 4 and his own label Young Goldie Music. At the age of 14, Lloyd was discovered by Joyce Irby in the pre-teen group N-Toon, alongside younger brother Chuckie. The group won Nickelodeon’s show Double Dare against No Authority and the group was signed to DreamWorks Records. Two singles were released (“Ready” and “Shoulda Been My Girl”) and their debut album Toon Time. The group eventually disbanded, and Lloyd began shopping around for a solo deal. He was soon signed to MCA Records with his first single to be “Young Girl”. Using “Young Girl” as a demo, he landed a new recording contract with Irv Gotti at The Inc./Def Jam Records. He released his debut solo album Southside, and title song "Southside", featuring Ashanti, became the first single. It quickly charted on the Hot 11 and became a Top 40 hit. Lloyd followed this with Street Love, which was certified Gold. His third album, Lessons in Love, earned him his first number one album on the US R&B charts. His fourth studio album, King of Hearts, peaked at number 5 on the US R&B charts..
