She became good friends with her then neighbor Bridget Kearney who introduced her to Rachael Price. Like many aspiring musicians, Glaspy moved to New York. She received a residency at Rockwood Music Hall. Glaspy is known for her work with the Fundies, for whom she sang and played the guitar; other band members included Bridget Kearney (bass/vocals), Rachael Price (vocals), and Brittany Haas (fiddle/vocals). They released an EP with the help of Club Passim's Iguna Project. Glaspy has performed back up vocals with other artists such as Rachael Yamagata, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury, Tim O’Brien, Rayland Baxter, and Aoife O’Donovan.
