Andy Shauf is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Saskatchewan. Early on in his musical career, Andy was the drummer for the Christian pop punk band, Captain. After breaking off as a solo artist, he released his debut EP entitled Darker Days, and not long after, he released two more EPs entitled Waiting for the Sun to Leave and Sam Jones Feeds His Demons. Next came his independently released album, The Bearer of Bad News, which was later released with Tender Loving Empire and Party Damage Records. He signed with the Canadian label Arts & Crafts Productions and ANTI- for international work. The single “Jenny Come Home” became Andy’s breakthrough track on Canadian radio, and it did well on the charts; it ranked in the Top 20 on both CBC Radio’s Radio 2 and 3 stations. Andy also went on tour as the opening act for indie rock band The Lumineers. He later released his album The Party, on which he played nearly all the instruments featured on the album himself. Andy has been nominated for many awards for his music, and he won the Producer of the Year award frm the Western Canadian Music Awards..
