John Krasinski is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, and director best known for his role as Jim Halpert in the television sitcom “The Office”. While working in the television series Krasinski also was a producer and occasional director. He has also been seen on a number of films and most recently directed, co-wrote, and starred alongside his wife in the critically acclaimed film “A Quiet Place”. Apart from acting, Krasinski also has his own production company, Sunday Night Productions. He got his start acting in high school where he tried out for various plays and eventually starred on a play that his future co-star B.J. Novak wrote. Before getting cast on television, Krasinski was actually a script intern on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He then was seen on small guest roles in television series like, “Ed”, “Law & Order”, “CSI”, “Without a Trace”, before getting cast as Jim on “The Office”. Krasinski’s debut film role was on “Taxi”, and since has been seen in films like “Kinsey”, “Jarhead”, “For Your Consideration”, “The Holiday”, “Dreamgirls”, “It’s Complicated”, “The Muppets”, “Monsters University”, “13 Hours”, and “Aloha”. He is also currently starring in the television series “Jack Ryan”.
