Michael Cera is a Canadian actor, producer, and musician. He is best known for playing George Michael Bluth on the television series “Arrested Development” and for his roles in film such as playing Evan in “Superbad”, Scott Pilgrim in “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”, Paulie in “Juno”, and voicing Dick Grayson/Robin in “The Lego Batman Movie”. Growing up, Cera became interested in acting after watching the film “Ghostbusters”. He went on to start training at Second City Toronto where he took improvisation classes. Cera started acting as a child and appeared in numerous commercials before earning the role of Larrabe in the series “I Was a Sixth Grade Alien”. Since then, other series he’s been in include, “Doc”, “I Was a Rat”, “Pecola”, “Braceface”, “Clark and Michael”, “Burning Love”, “Childrens Hospital”, and “Drunk History”. Cera made his film debut in “Frequency” where he played a young Gordy Jr. Other films he’s been in since then include, “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist”, “Year One”, “Youth in Revolt”, “This Is the End”, “Sausage Party”, “How to Be a Latin Lover”, “Molly’s Game”, and many more. Cera has also been in several theater productions including, ‘This Is Our Youth’, ‘Lobby Hero’, which earned him a Tony Award nomination, and ‘The Waverly Gallery’.
