Hazamda graduated from Kunitachi College of Music where she studied classical composition. While in college she worked in composition and arrangement and worked with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, and more. Hazama then moved to New York City to study jazz composition and earn her master’s at Manhattan School of Music. After earning her master’s degree she recorded her debut album “Journey to Journey” which was followed by three more albums, “Time River”, “The Monk: Live at Bimhuis” and “Dancer in Nowhere”.
