Scott Ian is an American musician, guitarist, author, and spoken word storyteller who is best known for being the only original remaining member of the trash metal band Anthrax. Ian has also been the guitarist and founding member of the band Stormtroopers of Death, has been the rhythm guitarist for the metal band the Damned Things, has played with the band Mr. Bungle, has hosted the series “The Rock Show” on VH1 and has also appeared on other VH1 shows such as “I Love the…”, “Heavy: The Story of Metal” and “SuperGroup”. Ian was born in Queens, New York, and it was after attending a KISS concert at Madison Square Garden that Ian knew he wanted to pursue a musical career. From there, Ian went on to form Anthrax. Over the years, Anthrax has released 11 studio albums and some of their most popular singles include “I Am the Law”, “Bring the Noise”, “Only”, “The Devil You Know” and more.
