Yasiin Bey, formerly known by his stage name, Mos Def, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, actor, and activist. Mos Def is best known for previously being a part of the rap group Urban Thermo Dymanics (UTD) and has also collaborated with De La Soul and Da Bush Babees and has been a part of Black Star alongside Talib Kweli.
