Khan identifies as queer, black, and gender-nonconforming. They were born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and went on to earn their degree with honors in English Language and Literature from York University. Since then, Khan has moved to Los Angeles where they work as a program director for Color Of Change and as a speaker.
