Donja R. Love is a playwright, poet, and filmmaker from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the co-founder of The Each-Other Project, an organization that helps build community through art and adovocacy for LGBTQ people of color. He is also a playwright for Juilliard and has written the plays ‘The Review,’ ‘One In Two,’ ‘The Trade,’ ‘Soft,’ ‘The North Star,’ and ‘A Ugandan Family.’ Love has also trained at Juiliard’s Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program. Over the course of his career, Love has earned numerous awards and nominations which include the Laurents/Hatcher Foundation Award, the Princess Grace Playwrighting Fellow, The National Playwrights Conference finalist, The Lark’s Van Lier New Voices Playwriting Fellow, and more.
