After forming the band, they were quickly asked to open for The Hiss to see how they worked as performers. During this time they also released their debut singles, “Shake Shake” and “Dreamboat.” Since then, The Coathangers have gone on to release five more albums over the years which include their most popular, “Suck My Shirt,” which led to them touring with the Black Lips and appearing on a song off of Mastodon’s album. With the release of their fifth album, “Nosebleed Weekend,” The Coathangers performed on Last Call with Carson Daly and toured with Refused.
