POSEY is an up-and-coming Canadian alternative and art rock musician who finds influence in artists such as PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, Freddie Mercury, and Alanis Morissette. POSEY also consists of members Patrick Dal Cin, Josh Try, Mark Swan, and Will O’Donnell and Sarah Botelho. POSEY rose to fame after competing on the CTV competitive reality series “The Lunch,” which led her to collaborating with popular composer and producer Stephan Moccio. Together with Moccio, POSEY released her debut single “Soldier of Love,” which hit the top 40 charts in Canada and was likened to artists such as Amy Lee and Florence Welch. Shortly after, POSEY was signed to Big Machine Label Group and also performed at various Canadian music festivals. Most recently she has began working with producer Gavin Brown, to work on a new sound for her new music. Together, Brown and POSEY have released the single “Strange Little Girl.” POSEY has opened for artists such as Mountain of Wolves, Tyler Shaw, and Matthew Good.
