Intervals is a Canadian progressive metal band that is currently led by and consists of Aaron Marshall. Intervals was formed in Toronto by Marshall after leaving the band Speak of the Devil. He went on to record Intervals debut EP, “The Space between,” by himself in his home studio and went on to release it independently. He went on to try to form a full band so that they could tour, but hasn’t been able to so far. Intervals followed up their debut EP with their second EP, “In Time.” This led to members Olly Steele and David Maxim Micic joining the band. Shortly after, they released their debut studio album, “A Voice Within.” During this time, Intervals went on to tour all over Europe with Protest The Hero, The Safety Fire, and TesseracT. With the release of their debut album, the band also released their debut single “Epiphany” and also released the single “Ephemeral.” Since then, the band has gone on to release two more singles, “The Shape of Colour” and “The Way Forward.” Over the years, the band has gone through various members and touring members and the band has been able to tour with bands such as Between The Buried and Me, Misery Signals, Animals As Leaders, The Contortionist, Veil of Maya, Chon, and more..
