Alasdair Murray, better known as his stage name, Illy, is an Australian hip-hop rapper and singer-songwriter from Frankston, Victoria. Before working as a solo artist, Illy spent time as a member of Crooked Eye but left the group to work as a solo artist. Shortly after, he released his debut studio album, “Long Story Short.” The following year, he released his second studio album, “The Chase,” which peaked at number 25 on the Australian charts.
