Dino Babers is an American football coach who is currently the head coach for Syracuse University. Babers was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and he began his career first playing football as a running back and defensive back while studying at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Upon graduating, Babers went on to begin his coaching career working as a graduate assistant at the University of Hawaii and then at Arizona State. From there, he began working as a running backs coach at Eastern Illinois and then was a special teams and running backs coach at UNLV. Since then, Babers has worked at numerous universities over the year working as a wide receivers coach, offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, assistant head coach, and more. Various universities he has worked with include UNLV, Northern Arizona, Purdue, San Diego State, Arizona, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, UCLA, and Baylor.
