Deuce McAllister is a former American professional football running back who has played in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints the entirety of his career. McAllister was born in Ludlow, Mississippi, and he began his career playing football in high school before going on to play college football at the University of Mississippi where he was the only player in the school history to record three seasons with 1,000 all-purpose yards. He was also a second-team All-SEC and a first-team All-SEC. He went on to be selected in the first round, 23rd overall pick by the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Draft. During his time playing with the Saints, McAllister was a two-time Pro Bowl selection, became a Super Bowl champion, and since retiring, has been inducted into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame. McAllister finished his NFL career with 6,096 rushing yards, 4.3 average and 49 rushing touchdowns.
