Bryant McKinnie is a former American professional football offensive tackle who played in the NFL. McKinnie was born in Woodbury, New Jersey, and he began his career playing high school football. He went on to play college football for two years at Lackawanna College before playing his other two years with the University of Miami. During his college career, McKinnie earned two-time first-team All-Big East, first-team All-American honors, was a BCS National Champion, and was a unanimous first-team All-American. He also won the Outland Trophy as well as the Jim Parker Award and was Player of the Year by CNN Sports Illustrated. Since playing in college, McKinnie has gone on to be inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame. McKinnie went on to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. McKinnie went on to also played for the Baltimore Ravens and then the Miami Dolphins for a year.
