Jon Kitna is an American football coach who is currently the head coach for Burleson High School and is a former professional football player. Kitna was born in Tacoma, Washington, and he began his career playing football as well as basketball and baseball in high school. He later went on to play college football at Central Washington University where he was a three-time All-Mount Rainier League selection, was a NAIA National Champion, NAIA All-American selection, and set a record for career total offense with 12,907 yards. He has since been inducted into both the Central Washington University Athletic Hall of Fame and the Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame. Kitna went on to be signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks. Throughout his professional career, Kitna played with the Barcelona Dragons, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.
