Davis has previously earned both his B.A. and J.D. from Yale University. Davis began his career working as National Director of Youth Coalition for Muskie before going on to try to run for congress. He then later served three terms on the Democratic National Committee where he represented the State of Maryland. As a lawyer, Davis began working as an associate at Patton Boggs before later becoming a partner. As a lawyer he also served as special counsel to President Clinton and after taking time off to work in politics, Davis later went back to work for Patton Boggs. He has also been a partner for Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and at McDermott Will & Emery. Most recently, Davis has co-founded the law firm of Davis Goldberg & Galper. He has also previously launched Purple Nation Solutions. As a lobbyist, Davis worked for Pakistan after 9/11. As an author, Davis has published books which include ‘Truth to Tell’ and ‘Scandal: How “Gotcha” Politics Is Destroying America.’.
