Anna Olson is an American professionally trained pastry chef who is best known for being the host of shows which include “Fresh with Anna Olson,” “Sugar,” “Kitchen Equipped,” and “Bake with Anna Olson.” She also hosts a short show on Twitter which is entitled “Sweet Something,” and hosts videos through her YouTube channel, Oh Yum with Anna Olson. Olson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and she shortly after immigrated to Toronto, Canada, which is where she grew up. Olson later went on to earn her political science and sociology degree from Queen’s University in Kingston. She spent some time working for a bank in Toronto and during this time, she would often wander around the St. Lawrence Market looking for inspiration for new recipes for dinner parties. This led her to want to pursue a career in the culinary arts and she then went on to study and graduate from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduating, Olson went on to travel all over the United States before going on to begin working as a pastry chef at Inn on the Twenty in Jordan, Ontario.
