Marcus Cooper, better known as his stage name, Pleasure P, is an American R&B singer-songwriter and record producer who is best known for his rise to fame as a member of the group Pretty Ricky. Pleasure P was born in Carver Ranches, West Park, Florida, and he began his career as a member of Pretty Ricky, a group that was best known for their singles which included “On the Hotline” and “Grind With Me.” After leaving Pretty Ricky to pursue a solo career, Pleasure P went on to release his debut solo single, “Did You Wrong,” which peaked at number 20 on the US R&B charts. He followed up his first single with two more singles, “Boyfriend #2,” which peaked at number 2 on the US R&B charts and “Under,” which peaked at number 5 on the US R&B charts. All three of his first singles were featured on his only studio album, “The Introduction of Marcus Cooper,” which peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard charts and number 2 on the US R&B charts. Although Pleasure P has not released another album, he has released several more singles over the years which include “I Love Girls” which features Tyga, “Rock with You” which features Plies, and “Insecure” which features Maor Mo.
