Brister has previously studied drama at Middlesex University and while there, took a course on stand-up comedy which is what began her love of comedy. While studying, Brister also earned performed stand-up for the first time at the King’s Head in London. Since then, Brister has gone on to perform at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Edinburgh Festival, and the Adelaide Festival. She also often performs at comedy clubs in the United Kingdom which include The Comedy Store in London, Banana Cabaret, the Glee Clubs, Frog & Bucket, Up the Creek, and many more. She has also previously toured all over the United Kingdom with her tour, Meaningless. Brister’s other solo shows include Me My Mum & I, British(ish), Now & Then, Wishful Thinking, and The Other One.
