Justin Andrew Honard, better known as the stage name Alaska Thunderfuck 5000, or just Alaska, is an American drag performer and musician who has previously been the runner-up winner for the 5th season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and has been the winner of the second season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.” Alaska was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania and studied theater at the University of Pittsburgh where Alaska earned a BA. After earning her degree, Alaska moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and then began doing drag at a club in West Hollywood. She then met Sharon Needles and Cherri Baum and formed a band with the duo, which was named Haus of Haunt. With her growing fame, Alaska went on to compete in RuPaul’s Drag Race for the first time.
