Lena Hall is an American actress and singer-songwriter who is best known for her roles on stage in Broadway productions which include playing Nicola in ‘Kinky Boots,’ and playing Yitzhak in ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch,’ the latter of which earned her a Tony Award and a Grammy nomination. Hall was born in San Francisco, California, and she has previously graduated from Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts, where she began studying dance, and was also previously an alumna of the Young People’s Teen Musical Theatre Company. Hall made her on stage debut in the production ‘Cats,’ before going on to earn roles in productions which included ‘42nd Street,’ and Annie Get Your Gun,’ the following years. Since then, she has gone on to act in productions which include ‘Radiant Baby,’ ‘Dracula, the Musical,’ ‘Tarzan,’ ‘Green Eyes,’ ‘Bedbugs!!!,’ ‘Rooms: A Rock Romance,’ ‘The Toxic Avenger,’ ‘Prometheus Bound,’ and most recently, ‘Bat Out of Hell.’ Hall has previously made her television debut playing Treena in the soap opera “All My Children.” Since then, her television credits have gone on to include “BoJack Horseman,” “Good Girls Revolt,” “Girls,” and most recently, she has played Miss Audrey in “Snowpiercer.” Hall made her film debut in “Sex and the City” and since then, has gone on to act in “The Graduates,” “Born from the Foot,” “The Big Gay Musical,” and “Becks.”.
