Embrace is an English rock band from Bailiff Bridge, West Yorkshire, England, which consists of members Danny McNamara, Richard McNamara, Steve Firth, Mike Heaton, and Mickey Dale. The band was formed by brothers Danny and Richard and they were soon joined by Mickey Dale, Mike Heaton, and then Firth. The band first began performing under various names locally before settling on Embrace as they enjoyed the American band that performed under the name. They then went on to release a demo with songs which included “Overflowing,” “Sooner Than You Think” and “Say It With Bombs.” From there, the band released their debut EP, “Fireworks,” which peaked at number 34 on the UK charts. They followed up their debut EP with two more EPs that same year, “One Big Family” and “All You Good Good People.” The following year, Embrace released their debut studio album, “The Good Will Out,” which peaked at number 1 on the UK charts and went on to earn them certified platinum in the UK. They have since released six more studio albums over the years which include “Drawn from Memory,” “If You’ve Never Been,” “Out of Nothing,” and “This New Day,” all of which have gone on to reach at least UK certified silver or better. Some of Embrace’s most popular songs include “Come Back to What You Know,” “My Weakness Is None of Your Business,” “You’re Not Alone,” “Wonder,” “Gravity,” “Ashes,” “Nature’s Law,” and “World at Your Feet.”.
