Dream Wife is an English band based out of London who performs a mixture of pop punk, indie rock, and rock music. The band consists of members which include Alice Go, Rakel Mjoll and Bella Podpadec. Podpadec met Go while performing at a Battle of the Bands and they then formed with Mjoll after they began studying at Brighton University and started the band as an art school performance project. It ended up turning into a mockumentary style film and after graduating, they decided to continue with the band and moved to London. Shortly after, they went on to release their self-titled debut EP which they followed up with their second EP, “Fire.” After the release of their second EP, the band toured all over Canada and also performed at festivals which included Iceland Airwaves and South by Southwest. Their growing fame led them to release their self-titled debut studio album which peaked at number 60 on the UK charts and at number 74 on the Scottish charts. Their album was featured in outlets which included The Independent, NME, and DIY. They then toured with bands which included The Kills, The Vaccines, Sunflower Bean and Garbage.
