Kim Chung-ha, better known as her stage name Chungha or CHUNG HA, is a South Korean k-pop singer-songwriter, dancer, rapper and choreographer who rose to fame after finishing in fourth place in the girl group survival show, “Produce 101,” which led her to be a member of the group I.O.I. Chungha worked with I.O.I. until they disbanded then she went on to pursue a solo career. Chungha was born in Seoul, South Korea, and she lived in Dallas, Texas for a while before moving back to South Korea to pursue a musical career. She has previously earned her degree in dance from Sejong University before going on to audition for YG Entertainment and was also a trainee for JYP Entertainment before joining MNH Entertainment. She then went on to audition on Produce 101 before going on to join I.O.I. Through her work as a solo artist, Chungha released her debut EP, “Hands on Me,” which peaked at number 8 on the Korean charts. She followed up her debut EP with three more EPs which include “Offset,” “Blooming Blue,” and “Flourishing.” Most recently, Chungha has released her debut studio album “Querencia.” Some of Chungha’s most popular singles include “Why Don’t You Know,” “Roller Coaster,” “Gotta Go,” “Snapping,” and many more.
