Caswell Senior, better known as his stage name Casanova, is an American rapper and singer-songwriter who rose to fame with the release of his debut single, “Don’t Run.” Casanova was born in New York City, New York, and while growing up found himself in trouble often as he was involved in gang life. He eventually ended up in prison and while there, met ASAP Rocky. After being released, Casanova released his debut single Don’t Run, which was produced by U-Dub. The song went on to gain local fame in New York City and was soon signed to Warehouse/Roc Nation. After being signed, Casasnova released his second single, “Line Me,” as well as a freestyle. He then released a remix to his most popular single Don’t Run which featured artists Young M.A., Fabolous, Dave East and Don Q. Casanova then went on to release his debut EP, “Commissary,” which he followed up with his debut studio album, “Behind These Scars.” Some of his other popular songs include “Go Best Friend,” “Left, Right” which featured Chris Brown and Fabolous, “Go Bestfriend 2.0” which featured G-Eazy and Rich the Kid, “2AM” which featured Tory Lanez and Davido, and more.
