Baraka Ongeri, better known as his stage name binki is an up-and-coming indie-pop singer-songwriter from North Carolina. Binki blends together genres which include indie-pop, indie-rock, funk, and hip-hop. He is known for his guitar solos, and his music will make you want to break into dance as soon as it starts. Binki began his musical career on accident when he began learning how to write songs and learned how to play guitar when he was bored in his spare time. He was born in Pennsylvania and he originally wanted to pursue an acting career and even studied theatre at the University of North Carolina before he fell in love with music.
