Ben Howard is an English singer-songwriter, musician, and composer from Richmond, London, England. Howard was raised by musically inclined parents and while growing up, he loved listened to artists which included Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and Simon and Garfunkel. Howard began writing his own songs at only 11 years old and also began playing guitar as a child and began growing his technique of adding his words and music to form a song. He later went on to study journalism at the University College Falmouth, Cornwall, but dropped out with a few months left to pursue a musical career full-time. Howard went on to self-release his debut EP, “Games in the Dark,” and followed that up with the EP, “These Waters.” Two years later, Howard released the EP, “Old Pine,” before releasing his debut studio album, “Every Kingdom,” which earned BPI two-time platinum, NVPI certified platinum, and RIAA certified gold. The album peaked in the charts of eight different countries. His debut album featured several popular singles which include “The Wolves,” “Keep Your Head Up,” “The Fear,” “Only Love,” and “Old Pine.” After a few years, Howard released his highly anticipated second album, “I Forget Where We Were,” which earned BPI certified gold. Most recently, Howard has released his third album, “Noonday Dream,” and is set to release his fourth album, “Collections from the Whiteout.” Some of Howard’s other singles include “I Forget Where We Were,” “Conrad,” “Nica Libres at Dusk,” and “What A Day.”.
