Apollo 440, also known as Apollo Four Forty or @440, are a British electronic rock music group from Liverpool, England, that currently consists of members Trevor Gray, Howard Gray, Noko, Ewan MacFarlane, Cliff Hewitt, Michael Cusick, and Ashley Krajewski. Apollo 440 was formed by the Gray brothers as well as with Noko and former member James Gardner who left after the recording of the first album. Each member of the group sings and adds in different samples and sounds to the music. After their formation, Apollo 440 released the singles “Lolita,” “Destiny,” “Blackout,” and then the EP, “Rumble.” The following year, Apollo 440 released their debut studio album, “Millennium Fever,” which peaked at number 117 on the UK charts. They then released singles which included “Astral America,” which peaked at number 36 on the UK charts, “Liquid Cool,” which peaked at number 35 on the UK charts, and “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” which peaked at number 35 on the UK charts. Apollo 440 shortly after released their second studio album, “Electro Glide in Blue,” which peaked in the charts of eight different countries including the UK, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, and more. Their third album, “Getting’ High on Your Own Supply,” was their last album to peak in the charts.
