Jordan Rudess is an American musician, songwriter, keyboardist and composer who is best known for being a member of the metal band, Dream Theater as well as a member of the metal supergroup, Liquid Tension Experiment. Rudess was born in Great Neck, New York, and he found his love for music at a young age and began studying classical piano at the Juilliard School of Music Pre-College Division when he was just nine years old. By the time he was a teenager, Rudess found a passion for progressive rock music and began pursuing a career as a solo progressive rock keyboardist.
