SuperM is a South Korean supergroup that was formed by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. The supergroup currently consists of members Baekhyun, Taemin, Kai, Taeyong, Ten, Lucas and Mark. Their music is a mixture of K-pop, dance-pop and hip-hop. The band was formed of members who were also from other various groups which include Shinee, Exo, NCT 127 and WayV. Shortly after their formation, SuperM released their self-titled debut EP which peaked at number 3 on the Korean charts and at number 1 on the US charts. That same year they also released their debut single, “Jopping,” which peaked in the charts in Korea, Canada, France, Japan, New Zealand, UK and US. The following year, SuperM released their debut studio album, “Super One,” which peaked at number 1 in Korea and also peaked in the charts in countries which included Australia, Canada, France, Japan, the United States, and more. The studio album also earned KMCA two-time certified platinum. Their debut studio album featured singles which include “100,” “Tiger Inside,” and “One (Monster and Infinity),” all of which peaked at number 7 on the US World charts. SuperM has also been featured on television series which include “SuperM – The Beginning,” “M-Topia” and “SuperM’s As We Wish.”.
