Steve Lemme is an American actor, director, producer, writer, and comedian, who is known for being a member of the Broken Lizard comedy group. Lemme was born in New York City, New York, and while in high school, Lemme performed as a break dancer and was featured on a television commercial in Colombia. He later studied at Colgate University where he met the other members of Broken Lizard. Together, they formed the comedy group and Lemme ended up dropping out of Colgate his senior year so he could put his full-time focus on Broken Lizard. Through his work with Broken Lizard, Lemme has been featured on films which include “Puddle Cruiser,” “Super Troopers,” “Club Dread,” “Beerfest,” “The Slammin’ Salmon,” “The Babymakers,” and “Super Troopers 2.” Apart from his work with Broken Lizard, Lemme has also played Jimmy in the film “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and has played an FBI Director in the film “The Brooklyn Heist.” Apart from his work in comedy and acting, Lemme has also hosted the weekly podcast alongside Kevin Heffernan called “Chewin’ it w/Kevin and Steve.”.
