Grace Sewell, better known as her stage name SayGrace, is an Australian singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Queensland. SayGrace grew up with a love for music and found influence in artists such as Amy Winehouse, Smokey Robinson, Janis Joplin, and Shirley Bassey. She also found influence in her grandparents whom had toured with the Bee Gees. SayGrace isn’t the only talent in the family and her brother, Conrad Sewell, is a singer as well. SayGrace began her career after performing a cover of Jessie J’s “Do It Like a Dude,” on the series “Dropout Live UK.” This led her to sign with Regime Music Societe and RCA Records and she then began recording and released her debut single, “You Don’t Own Me,” which featured G-Eazy and peaked in the charts of nine different countries and earned ARIA four-time platinum and BPI, RIAA and RMNZ certified platinum. That same year, SayGrace released her debut EP, “Memo,” which peaked at number 149 on the US Billboard charts and featured the singles “Dirty Harry,” and “Boyfriend Jeans.” The following year, SayGrace released her debut studio album, “FMA,” which peaked in the charts in Australia, Canada, the UK and US. Since then, SayGrace has released another EP, “The Defining Moments of SayGrace: Girlhood F***boys and Situationships.”.
