Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, better known as his stage name RZA, is an American rapper, actor, filmmaker and record producer who is the de facto leader of the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan. RZA was born in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and he found his love for hip-hop music when he was only nine years old and began competing in rap battles at only 11 years old. He later formed a rap group with his cousins Russell Jones and Gary Price and the group went on to record music. After getting into trouble, RZA focused on music and formed a new group with his cousins as well as five other childhood friends which they named Wu-Tang Clan. With his work with Wu-Tang Clan, RZA has released seven studio albums and an EP. Some of their most popular singles include “C.R.E.A.M.,” and “Gravel Pit.” Apart from his work with Wu-Tang Clan, RZA has also released four solo studio albums.
