Rak-Su is an English RnB-pop group from Watford, England, that consists of members Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Myles Stephenson and Mustafa Rahimtulla. The boy band rose to fame after winning the 14th season of “The X Factor” and were the first male group to win the show at that point. The members are childhood friends and Stephenson and Fongho have been best friends since they were 11 years old and often found themselves freestyling for fun while growing up. The duo then met the other two members while teenagers and they began recording and performing together shortly after. Rak-Su decided to take their group to audition for The X Factor in hopes of gaining attention for their original music. The band originally tried out for the show performing their version of Justin Timberlake’s “Senorita,” but Simon Cowell was unimpressed and the band ended up performing their own original song, “I’m Feeling You,” which led them to earn a yes vote by all four of the judges.
