Maya Cumming, better known as her stage name MAY-A, is an Australian singer-songwriter from Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. MAY-A is currently based out of Sydney, and began her musical career at a young age. MAY-A began entering various songwriting competitions while in Byron Bay and began busking on the streets when she was 11 years old. MAY-A busked for around three years before going on to pursue a professional musical career.
