Matroda is an up-and-coming DJ and producer from Croatia. Matroda’s music is a mixture of bass house and garage, and while growing up, he found influence in a wide variety of artists and bands which included Frank Sinatra, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. While growing up, he also began learning how to play instruments which included the drums, the keyboard and the violin. Matroda began to pursue a production and DJ career with the release of his first remix, SNBRN’s “California,” with Chris Lake. The release of the single led him to gain support from some of the biggest names in the electronic community; Calvin Harris, Diplo and Major Lazer. His remix went on to peak at number 2 on Beatport’s main chart and was also featured on SiriusFM’s list of songs of the year that year.
