John Benitez, better known as Jellybean, is an American musician, guitarist, drummer, songwriter, DJ, producer and remixer from South Bronx, New York. Benitez rose to fame producing and remixing popular songs from various artists which included Madonna, Michael Jackson, the Pointer Sisters and Whitney Houston. After graduating from high school, Benitez moved to Manhattan where he found his love for music attending disco nightclubs, which led him to want to be a DJ.
