Jawbreaker is an American punk rock band from New York City, New York, that consists of members Blake Schwarzenbach, Adam Pfahler and Chris Bauermeister. The band formed in the late 80’s and after performing together for 10 years took some time off and reformed recently. The band was formed while the trio were studying at New York University. They then moved to Los Angeles where they released their debut studio album, “Unfun.” After the release of their debut album, the band moved to San Francisco where they released their second album, “Bivouac.” After the release of their second album, Jawbreaker went on to release two more albums, “24 Hour Revenge Therapy” and “Dear You,” before disbanding for a while. The band has also previously released two EPs and have released a compilation album.
