Ismo Leikola, better known as just Ismo, is a Finnish stand-up comedian, musician, author, screenwriter and YouTuber from Jyvaskyla, Finland. Ismo found his love for comedy while studying physics and chemistry at the University of Jyvaskyla after watching a comedy show at the campus bar. This led him to decide to pursue a comedy career and within a year he was performing all over Finland. He then went on to begin performing throughout the United Kingdom before making his debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Ismo continued to perform throughout Europe and went on to perform at the International Comedy Showcase in London. He then also won the title of Funniest Person in the World by Laugh Factory which led him to begin performing in the United States on his Funniest Person In the World tour. By the end of the year, Ismo moved to Los Angeles and went on to perform on series such as Last Call with Carson Daly, CONAN, and The Late Late Show with James Corden. He has gone on to perform regularly at the Laugh Factory and Comedy and Magic Club.
