Stjepan Hauser, also known as just HAUSER, is a Croatian cellist who is best known for being a member of 2CELLOS alongside Luka Sulic. Hauser was born in Pula, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia, and was born into a musical family as his mother was a percussionist. Hauser went on to study at the Trinity College of Music before going on to finish his postgraduate studies with Ralph Kirshbaum at RNCM in Manchester. Over the course of his career, Hauser has performed at huge venues which include Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre, and more. Hauser began to gain attention after he launched his own YouTube channel and gained even more fame after Hauser and Sulic posted a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal.” As a solo artist, Hauser has released eight different albums which include “Urban and Hauser,” “None Rota Centenary Album,” “Noc Nek Tiho Svira,” and more. As one-half of 2CELLOS, Hauser has released five albums which include “2Cellos,” “In2ition,” “Celloverse,” and “Score (with the London Symphony Orchestra.)
