Mandy Harvey is an American jazz and pop singer-songwriter who rose to fame after competing in the 12th season of the reality competition series “America’s Got Talent.” Harvey was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and she moved to St. Cloud, Florida later in life. While growing up, she had several hearing problems and went through several surgeries to try to fix it but at the age of 18, she became ill and was then considered profoundly deaf. Harvey began singing as a child and she later studied vocal music education at Colorado State University but left due to fully losing her hearing.
