David Morris is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter, rapper and musician from Charleston, West Virginia. Morris is the next in line of country singer-songwriters who also blend together rap into their genre. Morris finds influence from artists such as Florida Georgia Line and Lil Nas X. Through his music, Morris incorporates together trap drums and a twangy guitar in his melodies as well as 808s, hi-hats and kicks. Morris has previously studied public relations at West Virginia University and while studying there, knew he wanted to be a country rapper. Morris moved around a lot during his childhood and lived in Manhattan, New York, Connecticut, and also lived in upstate New York. While in high school, Morris found his love for music after he began free styling during lunch. He then began writing and creating his own music while in college.
