Deus is a Belgium rock band from Antwerp, Belgium, that currently consists of members Tom Barman, Klaas Janzoons, Stephane Misseghers, Alan Gevaert and Bruno De Groote. The band was formed in the early 90’s originally as a cover band, but shortly after the band was writing their own original songs. Their music is a mixture of various genres such as progressive rock, punk, folk and jazz and they first gained attention after the release of their debut EP, “Zea,” which led them to sign with Island Records. A year after that, Deus released their debut studio album with Island Records, “Worst Case Scenario,” which earned gold in Belgian. Since then, Deus has gone on to release two more albums with Island Records, “In a Bar, Under the Sea” and “The Ideal Crash.” Deus then signed with V2 Records and released two albums, “Pocket Revolution” and “Vantage Point,” both of which earned platinum in Belgian and peaked in countries which included Netherlands, France, Germany, and more.
