Deer Tick is an American alternative rock-folk band from Providence, Rhode Island, that consists of members John Joseph McCauley, Christopher Dale Ryan, Dennis Michael Ryan and Ian Patrick O’Neil. Deer Tick was formed originally under the name My Other Face, as a project for McCauley and his songwriting. McCauley began touring and selling his music through handmade CDs and after two years or so, he began forming a band and changed the name. After their formation, Deer Tick released their debut album, “War Elephant” through Feow! Records. Two years after that, Deer Tick released their second album, “Born on Flag Day,” alongside their debut single, “Easy.” Since then, Deer Tick has gone on to release six more albums over the years which include “The Black Dirt Sessions,” “Divine Providence,” “Negativity,” and “Mayonnaise.” They have also released six EPs which include “More Fuel for the Fire,” and “Tim.” Some of Deer Tick’s singles include “20 Miles,” “Main Street,” “Miss K,” “The Rock,” “Sea of Clouds” and “It’s a Whale.”.
