Carl Broemel is an American rock musician who is best known for playing the guitar, saxophone, and singing back-up vocals for the rock band My Morning Jacket. Broemel has been a member of My Morning Jacket from the band's inception. Broemel spent his childhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, and his father was a musician who performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Broemel was a remarkable musician back when he was a student at the high school, and he played lead guitar for the band Planet Earth. Later on, Broemel began his work as a solo musician with the release of his debut solo album, "Lose What's Left." The following year, he recorded his first album with My Morning Jacket, "Z." With My Morning Jacket, Broemel has gone on to record four more albums with them which include "Evil Urges," "Circuital," "The Waterfall," and "The Waterfall II." Through his work with My Morning Jacket, Broemel has been included on Rolling Broemel has released a total of four albums as a result of his work as a solo artist.
